I read an article last night about a woman who, for seven days, based her makeup look on what she felt that particular day. That’s my inspiration for today’s look. I felt shitty so I had to spritz on my favorite scent of all time (yeah, that helps). Misery calls for dark, dark eyes, so I opted for… dark, dark eyes. Not smoky, since I was just going to be in the office the whole day, but dark enough for a hint of deranged. I kept everything else neutral (read: blah, like what I felt.) When I was done, I looked like someone who just got dumped, downed fifteen bottles of beer and didn’t wash off last night’s makeup. Perfect.
Today semi-sucked. There were bad vibes in my work area so I went to my happy place (the studio) and worked on these instead. It was long-overdue and I needed something to distract me - this is the perfect task because it requires full attention. (Or maybe that’s just me.) Smears and smudges are actually difficult to produce, you know! ♥
